🎮 GETTING STARTED
Choose a quiz from the home page that matches your interests.
Each quiz contains questions about retro computing, gaming, and vintage technology.
You can play as a guest or create an account to track your progress and appear on the leaderboard.
⭐ DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Questions come in three difficulty levels, each worth different base points:
The difficulty is shown at the top of each question so you know what's at stake!
💰 SCORING SYSTEM
For standard questions, your points come from two components:
Formula: Total Points = Base Points + Time Bonus
⚠️ Wrong answers earn 0 points - no penalties, but no time bonus either!
⚡ TIME BONUS
Answer quickly to maximize your score!
• Starts at +200 bonus points
• Decreases by 1 point every 100ms (10 points per second)
• Can go negative if you take too long!
• Watch the color change: Green → Cyan → Yellow → Red
🖼️ IMAGE PUZZLES
Some questions show a picture that uncovers step by step — recognize it as early as you can!
• The image reveals automatically over time — no clicking needed
• Your score starts at the question's base points and shrinks with every second and every revealed stage
• Answer early: a correct answer before the final stage always keeps a small minimum score
• Once the image is fully revealed, a correct answer scores 0 points — waiting doesn't pay!
• Image questions use this score instead of the time bonus
🎮 GAME MODES
Beyond solo quizzes there are more ways to play — find them in the GAMES menu:
⚔️ DUELS — challenge another player: same questions, 30 seconds per question, the better score wins
🎲 REMIX — build your own quiz mix from tags (5–75 questions) and play or share it
🛡️ LEAGUES — team up in groups, play league matches and climb the season standings
👤 Browsing works without an account — challenging, sharing and creating need a (free) login.
